This is not about a new teaser, a new poster, a new trailer or actually anything Comic Con related … but it may be the biggest hit of tomorrow.
Come with me to France and celebrate the beauty of the Grotesque Apple, the Ridiculous Potato, the Hideous Orange, the Failed Lemon, the Disfigured Eggplant, the Ugly Carrot, and the Unfortunate Clementine … but before I say anything, just watch the video below:

In a beauty/perfection obsessed world, once in a while it is important to take a step back and just look at what we are doing.
To be healthy we all know that it is preferable to eat fruits and vegetables, if not daily at least as often as possible. But we face several issues when trying to do so. The main issue is often how expensive buying fresh fruits and vegetables can be.
Intermarché (A supermarket chain from France) has decided to help people eat more fruits and vegetables by launching the Inglorious Fruits & Vegetables (the literal translation would be the ugly fruits and vegetables) and at the same time fight against food waste! A smart – genius – idea.
They are 30% cheaper and 100% more fun. I mean come on look at those fruits and veggies aren’t they adorable? Perfection and monotony is boring! Isn’t that inglorious apple the cutest thing you have ever seen?
It may even become popular and fun for your kids to bring at school the most ‘inglorious’ apple. But beyond the utopia of kids craving fruits and vegetables, this concept is a fun way to show to the market and consumers how ridiculous we can be demanding a visual perfection to something that once upon a time was suppose to look just like that?
Let’s now hope this will become a popular thing in France and then, maybe, this idea will make it to the US … because some people aren’t looking for those perfectly-round-extra-waxed apples that look like plastic ornaments.
