Jimmy Choo Men’s A/W 2011

“I am thrilled to introduce men’s shoes to the Jimmy Choo world. My vision of the Jimmy Choo man is one who exudes confidence and style whether he is an artist or an investment banker. The first thing I look at on a man is his shoes.” Tamara Mellon, OBE Founder and Chief Creative Officer.

Fusing modern British style with luxurious Italian craftsmanship, the Autumn Winter 2011 Men’s footwear collection has a Mod aesthetic with a hint of a 1960s Mayfair playboy.

The understated tones of black and brown are highlighted with rich colour and texture: cognac, oxblood and hints of ochre, turquoise and port. The collection also features a Bond-inspired velvet jacquard of paisley, featuring hidden burlesque silhouettes. Real crocodile, hand burnished calf, classic spazzolato, rugged suede, glossy patent and exotic stamped leathers and printed hair calf are crafted with minimal framed, butted and scored seam detailing and luggage stitching. All hardware is hand cast in English pewter.

A perfect balance between classicism and Rock ‘n Roll style, the men’s collection is a focused but versatile lifestyle offering, covering several moods of getting dressed with more formal styles such as lace-ups, monk straps, loafers, side zip boots and slippers, and rugged masculine boots such as Chelsea boots and Bikers. Trainers appear detailed in both subtle and more eccentric materials.

Jimmy Choo extends their collaboration with Hunter with an option for men in a black, vulcanized rubber wellington boot in a crocodile motif.
